interviewing Harriet Miers for the U.S. Supreme Court

This is something I haven´t actually been thinking about, but I guess it might be important: 

A better job must be done interviewing Harriet Miers for the U.S. Supreme Court than that which was performed with Chief Justice John Roberts. Roberts offered up very little about his judicial philosophy during his confirmation hearings, and what he did say received very little scrutiny.

Do we need to raise our political discourse?
